The classic Filippi is the colomba par excellence, an authentic synthesis of tradition and authenticity of the ingredients. Butter, flour, eggs and vanilla beans are skilfully mixed to form an irregular gluten texture typical of natural leavening. Cubes of candied orange peel enrich and perfume a soft dough with a delicate taste. The glaze is rich and crunchy, obtained by mixing precious “Prima Bari” almonds, sugar and egg white. Great care also for the wrapping to make what is good beautiful. Each dove is hand-made with opaque wrapping and embossed serigraphs and grosgrain ribbon with precious gold marks.
