PRODUCTION AREA: The Moscato Giallo vines are Guyot-grown in two small plots, the first located in the municipality of Montagna at an altitude of about 450 meters with a South / South-West exposure and a second vineyard on the Mazzon hill at an altitude of 400 meters and with exposure to the west. In the two vineyards there are different terrains, in Montagna an average loose soil, mainly sandy with small percentages of clay; while in Mazzon there is a tendentially heavier soil, with a good percentage of clay.

VINIFICATION METHOD: After a very brief maceration to encourage aromatic extraction, the crushed (de-stemmed grapes) is pressed. Subsequently, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature with the use of selected yeasts to enhance its aromatic potential. Before being bottled, the wine spends about five months on the lees in steel tanks, then stops for a short period in the bottle.

WINE DESCRIPTION: Moscato Giallo, produced in its dry variant, is slightly golden yellow in color. It is a fine and aromatic wine, opens with notes of citrus, white peach, lemon balm and elderberry, which are combined with the nuances of nutmeg and sweet spices. The excellent acidity and the discrete mineral structure give this wine an excellent freshness and pleasantness that make it ideal as an aperitif.

PAIRING: The wine lends itself splendidly as an aperitif or as a simple combination with light, aromatic and spicy appetizers.
