Pinot Blanc was introduced to Alto Adige in 1850 by Archduke John of Austria. It finds its vocation in dry, clayey and calcareous soils with large temperature changes between day and night. Dellago Pinot Bianco comes from vineyards carefully selected by the winemaker.

Production area selected vineyards in the surroundings of Bolzano at 500 m above sea level, porphyritic and calcareous soils

Harvest from early to mid-September

Vinification After pressing the selected grapes, the must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Part of the wine ages for a few months in French barriques

Characteristics Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections

Bouquet: fruity Golden Delicious apple, pear and white peach accompanied by mineral notes

Taste: elegant and structured with good minerality Excellent pairing as an aperitif, with asparagus, fish, pasta dishes, poultry and vegetarian dishes Serving temperature 11 - 13 °C
