Cultivated mainly in the vineyards surrounding Bolzano, Lagrein is one of the leading red vines of Alto Adige. It is an indigenous variety from which a wine of great character is obtained. The notable temperature variations between day and night together with the sandy and loose alluvial soils give life to a complex wine with intense colors and characterized by the typical freshness. For the Prestige Grieser Lagrein Riserva, only selected grapes from the best vineyards are used, where yields are low to maintain high quality.

Harvest from the end of September to mid-October Vinification fermentation in wooden barrels, aging for about a year in French barriques and large barrels
