Between the Gran Sasso and the sea, in the Sant'Andrea Estate, on the Pescara hills, the "Dante Marramiero" is born from mature stumps, among which our winemakers carefully select the bunches already in the veraison period, to arrive to a homogeneous and optimal maturation. It is aged for 120 months. Initially the fermentation and the long maceration take place both in barriques and in Ganymede.
Subsequently, the refinement continues in barriques of 5 different types of oak and is completed with the long stay in the bottle. It has an intense, lively and deep ruby color with hints of garnet hues, persistent, broad and complex aromas, which express notes of fruit, spices and flowers. On the palate it has a powerful and at the same time delicate entrance, rich, with a lasting sensation and intriguing originality. The aftertaste expresses olfactory harmonies on tones of jam. It is a wine of tasty complexity that invites you to taste it again. The great softness and richness of tannins make it ideal for first courses based on truffles and mushrooms, red meat, game, aged cheeses and cured meats.
It is recommended to pour into a decanter and let it rest until it gradually reaches a temperature of 17°-20°C.
