History
Atop a high hill in Tuscany, not far from Siena and Perugia, stands the ancient town of Cortona. On one side the spacious plain, on the other the hill and the village. This is the view you can enjoy from the Santa Cristina winery, founded in 2006 to confirm and renew the tradition of its namesake wine, over 70 years after the first vintage. Over time, Santa Cristina has become a point of reference for industry experts, and not only, thanks to a constant commitment to quality. Just like a good story, it is a timeless Tuscan classic, with a contemporary taste. The care always taken in following the vineyards and the work in the cellar has been the stimulus for continuous innovation and for comparing native and international varieties, giving life to different wines but distinguished by the same artisanal style, the result of an indissoluble bond between vineyard, terroir and man's work.

The cellar
The Cantina di Santa Cristina, designed by the Hydea studio of Florence, features a modern architectural structure conceived according to criteria of minimal environmental impact while respecting the surrounding area. The cellar owes its name to the red Santa Cristina, a historic wine that has been the symbol of the company for over 70 years. The structure is designed to accompany the grape from the vineyard to the individual stages of fermentation, refinement and bottling, up to packaging; the advanced technology, combined with careful and continuous research for quality, strengthen and fortify the ancient tradition and love for one's land.
