Rough in name but velvety in fact: red, amber, with a fine and creamy foam. A distant relative of Scottish Ales, it is a robust beer that loves contrasts.

The taste begins soft and fruity and then unexpectedly deviates towards pleasant bitter notes.

It goes well with aged cheeses, complex first courses and grilled meats.
