The Domaine Bersi Serlini has its origins in the Middle Ages; the monks of Cluny, from the nearby Abbey of San Pietro in Lamosa in Provaglio d’Iseo, built the historic cellar building, an agricultural and wine-making outbuilding: large walls, built with field stones, with splendid barrel, sail and cross vaults.

After over 700 years of ownership by the monks of Cluny, the property passed to private individuals and in 1886 to the Bersi Serlini family. Expanded in the second half of the 20th century by the grandfather, the lawyer Piero Bersi Serlini, and then renovated by the visionary guidance of his son Arturo who in 1970 produced the first bottle of Brut in Franciacorta, the Bersi Serlini winery is still a family-owned company today.

Today, the winery is run by Agostino Migliorati, CEO, who, together with Chiara and Maddalena Bersi Serlini, passionately follows the production of bubbles, communication and image.
