Birrificio BIRRA ARDUINI was born because I wanted to express myself, creating a product that tells a little about my story. It is nice and exciting to propose my beer, even more so for me who has always recommended and sold beers together with my family. Therefore, Birrificio BIRRA ARDUINI begins to produce VIOLA, a beer that I dedicate to my grandfather Mario.
When I was little my grandfather took me on trips in his car and being a motor enthusiast he always repeated to me, strictly in the Romagnolo dialect: “sent cum la và sta machinena, la và com’è nà viola!” which translated means: “listen to how this car goes, it goes like a viola!” (it was a Fiat 127, purple in color…but this is a coincidence…)

So, for me “VIOLA” has always represented excellence: if something goes well IT GOES LIKE A VIOLA. Surely my grandfather meant that the engine sounded like a Viola, referring to the musical instrument.

VIOLA therefore represents for me something that IS GOOD: it is good to make it and it is good to drink it.
Born in 2010, today it is sold and appreciated all over the world and this has given me the opportunity to experience important sharing and emotions, in my Italy and also abroad. VIOLA is now a symbol, a real lifestyle.
To produce it, I am lucky enough to avail myself of the consultancy of expert master brewers of international fame, and thanks to their creativity and their sensitivity in dosing the best raw materials, 6 types of beer are born:
Viola blonde lager, Viola rossa red ale, Viola bianca blanche, Viola numerotre blonde pale ale refermented in the bottle unfiltered, Viola IPA india pale ale and Viola 10th Anniversary, the 100% Italian unfiltered blonde pale ale.
Each one can be tasted on any occasion and with any dish your imagination suggests, also because creating unconventional combinations can reserve nice surprises.
