VINEYARD PROPERTY
Laurento takes it names from the property of the same name, an ancient farm that had always been owned by the Curia di Bologna. Umberto Cesari purchased it over thirty years ago and built on it an ageing cellar, the Bottaia Ca’ Laurento. Today, the entire property is planted to specialised and experimental vineyards, managed in collaboration with the Department of Crop Sciences of the University of Bologna.

GRAPE VARIETIES
The Podere Laurento is planted to Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

WINES
This extensive, ancient property yields, in addition to Laurento, Moma Rosso, Liano Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc, and Moma Spumante.
