Production area
The word Bricco (Bric, in Langhe dialect) recalls the top of our hills, whose limestone soils, rich in quartz sands and very fine clays, guarantee a broad structure and an immediate expression of the bouquet. It is on these soils that white grape varieties find the ideal conditions for the full expression of their potential.
Vineyard cultivation
The vines are trained in counter-espalier with the Guyot system, on steeply sloping hills.
Winemaking
The grapes quickly arrive in the cellar intact, are immediately pressed and delicately destemmed. Subsequently we proceed with a soft pressing and, therefore, the musts obtained are left to ferment, at low temperature, in thermo-conditioned steel tanks. The wines are then stored at a controlled temperature in the presence of their own fermentation yeasts, to allow each different variety to best express its peculiarities.
It is only at this point that the best blend is decided which allows each vine to blend harmoniously into a unique product, powerful and delicate at the same time, just as honey (Amel in Langhe dialect) draws freshness and complexity.
Organoleptic characteristics
Pale straw yellow color, with pale greenish reflections. The perfume combines fruity notes of peach and apricot with hints of almond, acacia and hawthorn. The flavor is full, fresh, savory, fragrant, delicately mineral: it flows lightly on our palate, but doesn't let itself be forgotten so quickly...
Gastronomic pairings
Ideal for delicate appetizers, but with intense flavors such as veal with tuna sauce, vegetable flans, light first courses, for white meats, boiled or stewed, with raw or marinated fish.
