Pinot Noir of the land Mareuil Sur Ay. Particular champagne, very complex and articulated, to the nose it presents multiple aromas where sensations of wild flowers and dried fruit prevail, notes of anise, spices, mint and litchi. The eye appears to have a beautiful deep yellow. On the palate the thickness of this wine is immediately perceived, fresh, clean, mineral, and slightly bitter, however never heavy because it is supported by a nice long, sapid, round and enveloping finish. Nose of anise, very aromatic, spices, mint, lychee, mind blowingly complex herbal nose; palate is fresh, clean, mineral, slightly bitter in a way that gives a lot of complexity; final is long. This is surprising, almost perfect (nose is perfect) and completely different in character than any other Selosse or any other champ-Agne tasted. Easily the best champ-Agne I've ever tried and a very special wine. 98-100 (99 pts.)
