Extraordinary harvest in the year of recognition of Champagne as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! 2015 is perfectly in line with the continental trend of the decade: mild and humid winters and hot and dry summers! The hot and sunny summer will be remembered for its record heat and drought... Luckily, in the second half of August, a saving rain gave the vineyards the necessary relief. Maturation, thanks to this cool climate finish, will give life to juicy, ripe and concentrated grapes! The ambition of this vintage...? Capturing the essence of a spectacular vintage!

TASTING NOTES
Yellow colour, with iridescent reflections. Dynamic and regular effervescence. Pure, slender, vertical, rich and concentrated bouquet. It evokes ripe but highly elegant aromas: fine and delicate citrus peel (lemon, orange), vanilla (Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar), warmer nuances of baked apple, tarte tatin, which progressively tend towards crunchy notes. The palate offers a marked and singular contrast: undeniably expressionistic thanks to the broad, juicy, almost sensual texture of the clayey soils of Cumières in a year full of sunshine, but also resolutely minimalist thanks to a real vein of freshness, pure, mineral, stimulant, due to the zero dosage. Ripe citrus fruits mix with warm pebbles to further enhance the aspect related to salivation and umami. The finish is energetic, light and ethereal.
