Champagne Baron Albert
The Baron family has been established in the Champenois vineyard for many generations, but it was only with the initiative of the grandfather of the current owners of the House that they launched into the exclusive production of champagne.
Today it is the descendants of the Baron family, Claire, Lise and Aline who lead the adventure in this family estate and develop the champagnes to which they give their feminine touch.
Located in Charly-sur-Marne, one of the largest wine-growing villages in Champagne, the House Baron Albert is the guarantee of quality work carried out in tradition and respect for nature.
A family know-how
The history of Baron Albert champagne begins with Albert Baron and his bride Beatrice.
Both descendants of Champagne winegrowing families, they are the first to make a Champagne out of their grapes. Following them, their sons Gilbert, Gervais and Claude took over their parents' company. Today, it is Claude's daughters: Claire, Lise and Aline, who perpetuate the savoir-faire of their grandparents, uncles and father, by producing an exceptional wine: Baron Albert champagne. .
Tradition respecting the environment.
Thanks to this immense legacy, the Baron sisters cultivate the vines of their estate today with respect for the land and the environment. Convinced that the future of wine is based on respect for the land, Casa Baron Albert has been developing reasoned viticulture for many years.
These practices respectful of fauna and flora are applied to all the Baron Albert champagne vineyards, i.e. on 7 large Champenois villages: Charly-sur-Marne, Pavant, Porteron, Domptin, Azy-sur-Marne, Villiers-Saint-Denis and Crouttes-sur-Marne. This concern to preserve a balance between the crop and the environment made it possible to obtain the Sustainable Viticulture and High Environmental Value certifications in 2016. They reward the initiative of this family home which guarantees the perpetuity of its action in favor of the ecosystem.
