Crus: Reuil, Binson-Orquigny, Châtillon sur Marne, Villers sous Châtillon, Le Breuil, Neuville sur Seine, Ludes
Vinification: 1st alcoholic fermentation only in temperature-controlled vats followed by malolactic fermentation and subsequent blending with reserve wines stored in temperature-controlled vats.
Aging: union of two different harvests and aging for 30 to 36 months.
Specificity: The blending of the white wines is the same as our Reserve Brut.
Coppery rose gold colour, almost fresh salmon, with thin, lively and persistent bubbles
Promising and fruity nose with fresh fruit, close to blackcurrant, notes of quince and flowers
Notes of red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), seductive, full-bodied and robust mouth.
To obtain the rosé color, we obtain it by mixing red wine up to 8-11% and white wine. The red wine is vinified by us with Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir harvested in old vineyards (> 50 years)
PAIRING: Wine to be enjoyed, with the mouth and with the eyes. It can be served with mixed salads, meats such as lamb or desserts made with red fruits.
The more traditional Vallée de la Marne, we are on the right bank of the river, where Champagne is still produced as it once was: Pinot Meunier reigns supreme, with its fruity and fresh flavors, in a classic and pleasantly easy style.
