The “MAJARA”: female figure of Sicilian popular culture; she was not a witch, but rather a good fairy, she drew her strength from her knowledge of nature and familiarity with some animals. She was able to make ordinary people discover everything they could never have known, the depths of the sea, the stars in the universe, all the incredible beauties of the natural world.

In 2021 the Arcà – By Tumminello line was born: Collectible limited edition Latte d’Autore.

Every year we select a different artist to create the customization of our milk, seeking that authentic Sicilianness that knows how to innovate with originality but without losing the link with the past.

The Arcà signature tins contain the assortment of our most prized sweets, individually packaged:
the Ricci with almonds and pistachio, the Cosi chini, the Zuccotti, the Pralines with coconut and the latest additions to our production range,
the Cantucci with toasted almonds and those with Modica PGI chocolate.

For Biscottificio Tumminello, Sicily is the wealth of a heritage to be made known in all its possible declinations by promoting its beauty and goodness, which finds its maximum expression in Arcà, the limited edition signature tin.

The fourth series of these precious boxes to be displayed for their uniqueness and originality is signed by Giulia Conoscenti, a Sicilian artist and illustrator, based in Urbino, who through Majara, Gattopardo and Esperidi gives continuity to the declination in images of the values ​​and production philosophy of the Tumminello family, strongly anchored to the concept of Sicilianness.

Giulia loves the colors, the sea and the scents of her Sicily which, in some way, are found in everything she does. For her, art is a very powerful means of communication. It manages to break down linguistic barriers, makes possible what in reality is impossible, giving shape to states of mind that we keep hidden and have an incredible immediacy in transmitting a message. A point of view that is well suited to conveying the messages of love of Arcà.
