Elements of Islay is the selection of Scottish malts created by Sukhinder Singh - founder of "The Whisky Exchange", a great collector and selector of whisky -, to celebrate whiskies with a strong, smoky character, and a strong flavour of iodine and saltiness. The pharmaceutical laboratory bottles pay homage to the "medicinal" character of these whiskies, carefully selected by Oliver Chilton, head blender of Elixir Distillers. Peat is a blended malt whisky from the island of Islay, the result of a selection from some of the Islay distilleries, whose names and percentages are not declared. Bottled at a reduced strength, to create a peaty malt, easy to drink every day and very suitable for mixology.
