Pruno is our historic Sangiovese Cru. It comes from the selection of the best grapes from the single vineyard from which it takes its name: the Vigna del Pruno. It is an iconic and luxurious wine that leaves its mark over time, capable of preserving - and enhancing - elegance and freshness even after many years of aging thanks to its accomplished personality.

GRAPES: 100% Sangiovese,

VINEYARD: 2.98ha from the vineyard in the municipality of Forlì in the Doc Predappio sub-area located at the Cadastral Sheet 255, part.71, sub.4.

VINIFICATION: fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 24 ° C-27 ° C. with maceration on the skins for 18-20 days. Malolactic fermentation carried out in stainless steel and in barriques. Bottled unfiltered.

MATURATION: entirely aged in French oak tonneaux and barriques with a capacity of 500 liters. and 225 lt. for a period of approximately 18 months. Refinement in the bottle follows.
