At the beginning of the last century, to be precise in 1902, F.I.S. – Fabbrica Italo Svizzera opened its doors in Ferrara, which took on extraordinary importance for the city.
Its founder of Lombard origin, Guido Ghezzi, acquired the technical knowledge for the processing of chocolate on an industrial scale in Switzerland.
Today F.I.S. – Fabbrica Italiana Specialità – represents the Pampepato Ferrarese.
