The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the village of Calino, near Lake Iseo. The vineyards surrounding the villa owned by the Maggi family have been the heart of the production of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta since 1999.

The wine
Donna Cora expresses all the richness and the variegated facets of the Chardonnay grapes vinified alone. Flowers and white pulp fruit are the characteristic notes of its enthralling perfume which gives the nose sensations of breadth and great balance. It has a straw yellow color, with light golden reflections, and is characterized by a creamy foam and a delicate and persistent perlage, characteristics of Franciacorta Satèn. On the palate it is fine and harmonious, characterized by marked elegance.
