1 BOTTLE X 75cl.
The wine
Elegant and refined like the name it bears. Produced with selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, it represents one of the finest expressions of Franciacorta production. It has a golden color with brilliant reflections and is characterized by heady notes of ripe fruit. It is a wine of great harmony and complexity, whose personality expresses the most classic tradition of these lands.
Vinification
The whole bunches, harvested manually, were directly subjected to a soft pressing and the 'flower' must obtained from the first pressing, underwent the first alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. In the spring of the following year, the wine began the second fermentation process in the bottle, remaining in contact with the lees for a long period.
Tasting notes
Tasting notes Contessa Maggi has an intense straw yellow colour; the foam shows a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is intense and refined. On the palate it is complex and of excellent structure, characterized by notes of white pulp fruit. Excellent aging potential. Recommended pairing and serving temperature The elegance and finesse of Contessa Maggi are particularly suitable to accompany medium-intensity first courses and white meats, fish soups and fish in general.
