Limited edition born from the collaboration between the President of Velier Luca Gargano and the patron of the Alta Langa distillate Paolo Dalla Mora.

An Italian and organic gin aged for six months in the barrels of the most famous Trinidad rum. Paolo Della Mora says: “My idea of creating a new product was in the air, I felt the need to make an extension line and play with Engine... Thanks to my friend Luca Gargano, we sent in about ten bottles of Caroni distilled in 1998. After the refinement period, the gin was simply filtered, in order to fully preserve the aromatic bouquet given by the barrels: a process that gives Engine a refined and surprising complexity, resulting in a gin with a warm, citrusy taste and tannic”

In recalling the story of the discovery and subsequent bottling of the rum contained in Caroni's barrels, Luca Gargano tells us about the Engine Caroni project: "...I gave the last of this stock from the legendary Caroni distillery in Trinidad to my big brother Paolo true original Caroni barrel to realize his project and refine his gin inside”.
