Ron Millonario was established in 1904 in the northern part of Peru. Initially, it was a small settlement, the Hacienda Agrícola de Chiclayo in Chiclayo, also known as "the city of friendship," a quaint place nestled between the sea and the mountains. A group of farmers began trading sugar and over time built a small refinery.

Since 2004, the Rossi brothers have invested in the company and believed in the project. Today, Ron Millonario is among the best rums in the world and is highly regarded by experts.
