Giacomo Conterno has been producing wine since 1920 when the wines were produced from grapes purchased in the best vineyards of Serralunga d'Alba and Monforte d'Alba. Over the years the vineyards have been purchased, until reaching the current 17 hectares cultivated following the principles of integrated pest management. The varieties grown are Nebbiolo and Barbera, both grown in the Cascina Francia and Ceretta vineyards.

Fermentation lasts 20 days, malolactic fermentation is carried out completely, maturation takes place in oak barrels for about 20 months.

Bright red with ruby ​​reflections on the nose, it is spicy with aromas of red fruit.

On the palate it is very fresh with mineral tones and an incredible persistence
