Vinification and aging: Traditional Barolo with long-term fermentation and maceration in oak vats at a temperature of around 30°C; aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for up to 30 months and refined in the bottle for about a year in special cool and dark rooms.

Notes: The age of the vineyard, the splendid full southern exposure and the ridge sheltered from the winds give us a raw material of absolute excellence.

Tasting characteristics

To the eye: intense and brilliant garnet red that, naturally, tends to evolve with aging.

To the nose: deep, very broad, offers multiple aromas among which red fruits prevail associated with floral and spicy notes.

The elegance and refinement of Nebbiolo is unmissable, especially after a few years of aging.

To the palate: powerful, rich and austere, it is a Barolo that expresses in an extraordinary way the great complexity of the Serralunga d'Alba soil; a perfect wine for long aging.

It is advisable to decant it and drink it at a temperature of 18-20 ° C.

It elegantly accompanies important first courses such as risotto al Barolo and rich and tasty second courses such as roast meats.

After a few years of aging, it expresses its considerable potential equally when sipped as a meditation wine and paired with hard and semi-hard cheeses.
