Vineyard that was little known until a few years ago, but has always been appreciated in the area for the great classicism of its wines.

Full southern exposure, but open to the cooler winds that sometimes blow from the north and wedge themselves into the valley that separates the municipalities of Neive and Barbaresco, lapping the rows of Montefico and mitigating the summer mornings. The high limestone content of the soil gives powerful tannins, full structure and great minerality in the finish to the wines of Montefico, among the most austere but also among the most elegant in the entire production area. The complexity is exceptional, worthy of the best examples of Barbaresco.
