Thanks to courageous entrepreneurs who believed in organic and natural food when few knew its importance, we have promoted an agri-food system and a supply chain that today guarantees the best organic raw materials, mainly farmed in Italy.

We guarantee traceability from field to table, transparency in the supply chain, and respect for biodiversity at every stage of product development. This philosophy is rooted in our history and stems from the desire to create foods with a high nutritional profile using unique recipes that combine taste, goodness, naturalness, and originality with health and well-being.

We offer over 850 certified organic products to suit every need  and diet. Our products are sold in over 4,000 stores in Italy and in 47 countries worldwide.

We were born from a dream  in 1978. The dream of courageous entrepreneurs with a strong focus on a healthy lifestyle and respect for the environment who gave birth to a new idea of natural food. The very origin of the name, which comes from the Greek words PRO (in favor of) and BIOS (life) - in favor of life - embodies the principles and values that lead the people working in our company every day, fueling its growth.

For more than 45 years, the company has launched many innovative products, leading to the range available today, designed for everyone, including those looking for Gluten-free, Lactose-free, Sugar-free, Protein and Keto-friendly foods.
