3 BOTTLES X 75cl Born in the wake of the Tuscan experience in the mid-'80s, Marzieno has known over the years to build its own personality and above all its own credibility, so as to be over the years, according to critics, among the few red wines of our region to be able to compete with the best Italian reds of its type. Starting from the 2001 harvest, while continuing to maintain a solid framework given by Sangiovese, the Marzieno cut saw the introduction, alongside the cabernet sauvignon, of other vines such as syrah and merlot. VINES Sangiovese (60-80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10-20%), Merlot and Syrah (20-40%) WINE Part in 500 L French oak tonneaux for two weeks with fulling and manual reassembling, part in medium capacity steel tanks with 15-21 days maceration AGING In French oak barrels (20% new) and a small percentage also of American and Hungarian oak (10%) for twelve months
