The Dagromis di Gaja is produced from Nebbiolo grapes from the La Morra vineyards, purchased in 1995 by the Gromis family from which it takes its name. Vinified in the traditional manner, it is aged for 12 months in barriques and 12 months in large barrels.
The bouquet is broad and intense with beautiful hints of red fruits and flowers, followed by spicy and licorice notes.
The sip is convincing: elegant and structured with soft tannins and a long finish.
Pairings: tasty first courses, red meats, game, stews, mature cheeses.
