A single variety wine with a precise organoleptic identity, from a selection of Nero d'Avola grapes grown on high hills. The expression of primary aromas, without ever yielding to the temptations of excess ripening, it differs from the variety cultivated in warmer parts of Sicily. An assembly of barriques of different ages gives soft and elegant tannins, with a wood note that is never invasive. Its name is Sicilian for "L'Amore," the Love that Tasca d'Almerita puts into its work.

Grapes: Nero d'Avola.

Appellation: Sicilia DOC - Nero d'Avola.

Vineyards: A selection of high hill grapes grown between 450 and 750 meters above the sea level.

Yield per Ha: Average 7 t.

Production method: In stainless steel tanks.

Fermentation temperature: 25/28°C.

Maceration: Skin contact for 12 days.

Malolactic fermentation: Totally developed.

Ageing: 12 months in 225 litre French oak (Allier and Tronçais) barrels, 20% new and 80% second and third passage.

Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
