Intense and deep ruby colour. Fresh fruity notes of cherry and plums, followed by hints of white flowers and typical Syrah pepper notes. On the palate we discover an enjoyable freshness along with a pleasant sweetness. Well-structured wine reveals itself to be smooth with sweet and persistent tannins. The ending is characterized by a good aromatic length and spicy notes.
Vinification
After destemming and soft crushing the different grape varieties were vinified separately. Fermentation and maceration took place in stainless steel vats for 15-20 days at a controlled temperature within 28° C. Half of the wine was then transferred into used 225 l French oak Barriques, where malolactic fermentation was completed and the wine was aged for about 8 months. The other 50% of the wine remained in stainless steel tanks for the fining and was then blended before the final bottling. Alcohol: 13,50%
