For six generations the Faiveley family has been producing wines, among the best in Burgundy. François Faiveley and now his son, Erwan, are at the head of a 122 hectare Domaine (one of the largest in Burgundy) spread over the whole region and including some of the most prestigious "Grand Cru" and "Premier Cru": Corton Charlemagne, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Clos des Corton, etc.
Features This Bourgogne is left to mature, faithful to the tradition of the Domaine, in large wooden barrels in the cellars of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color with a fruity bouquet well representative of Pinot Noir. Round and soft at the attack, the juice is totally amalgamated with the tannins. It is released with finesse and beautiful intensity.
