TYPE: AOP Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge red wine
PRODUCTION AREA: Côtes du Rhône, south-eastern region of France.
GRAPE VARIETY: Grenache 80%, Syrah 8%, Mourvèdre, 7%, Cinsault 5%.
TYPE OF SOIL: Soil composed of siliceous pebbles mixed with red clay and valley limestone areas.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are destemmed. Maceration for approximately 20 days. Extraction made by pumping over and punching down.
COLOR: Very intense ruby red.
BOUQUET: The nose is very expressive with notes of black fruits (blackberries, raspberries). Very spicy finish.
PAIRING: Ideal with meat, spicy and truffled dishes, tasty cheeses.
TASTE: Initially very fresh, it has superb minerality and silky tannins. Very persistent in the mouth with a fine and toned tannic structure.
