On 20 June 2017 Luca Gargano went to Antigua hoping to find something special among the 4000 barrels in stock at the Antigua Distillery. Destiny has wanted that due to a break of the coffey still column, a fermentation ready for distillation has remained a few extra days in fermentation vats, producing a rum with a level of esters that is absolutely unusual for the distillery standards. A stock of 27 truly special barrels that Luca did not let go. The first bottling in the history of the distillery in partnership.
