HISTORY: The Maison du Whiskey realizes its selection, Transcontinental Rum Line, taking inspiration from the historic journeys of rum barrels between the New World and the old continent. Since the beginning of its production, the rum has been transported to Europe for maritime, economic and technical reasons. Maritime, because it allowed to avoid drinking stagnant water during long journeys. Economical, because the rum aged in a continental climate evaporates less quickly and matures more sweetly. Techniques, because the variety of barrels available and the indisputable knowledge of the master cantinieri of Scotland and Cognac allowed to obtain unique expressions. Each bottle reports the years of aging on the two continents.

PRODUCT: Aged for one year in a tropical climate and six in a continental climate, coming from a small selection of four barrels, this rum presents us with a very complex and rich aromatic scoop.

PROFILE: Definitely citrus and milky, it opens with notes of exotic fruit and vanilla.
