Crafted in small batches in a historic Barbados distillery founded in 1893, Bumbu Rum represents the product of centuries of perfection in the art of distillation and mixing.

The recipe adopted to produce Bumbu Rum is based on the original created by sailors and merchants that sailed the West Indian seas in the 16th and 17th centuries, who did not like the taste of traditional rum: "Bumbu" was in fact the name of the blend that they had created using Caribbean fruit, spices and their rum.
