Don Papa Masskara is inspired by the colorful MassKara Festival, a Filipino festival that takes place every year on the fourth Sunday of October in Bacolod. The name of the desta derives from the union of two words: "mass", which means "many", and "kara" which means "faces". Participants all wear a smiling mask, sing and dance to ward off negativity and celebrate life.

The rum Don Papa combines the positive attitude typical of the Filipino population with their most revolutionary spirit, that inherited from the famous hero Pope Isio, who dedicated his life to the struggle for the independence of his country.

Don Papa Masskara presents aromas and flavors typical of the Asian continent, thanks to the infusion of local ingredients in alcohol based. Among these, the following stand out: calamondino, also called calamansi, a small lemon that gives the distillate a powerful and acidic touch; local honey, which gives sweetness; the siling labuyo chilli, which gives a spicy note.
