From the selection of Luca Gargano and Olivier Scars and from the shots of Fredi Marcarini, the first edition of the Caroni Employees series is born, dedicated to the employees of the famous Trinidad distillery, closed by the government in 2003.

9 months later, on 12 April 2019, Luca Gargano and 26 Caroni Lovers, divided into 8 tasting gangs, spend the whole day in Cognac, to taste the samples of the last remaining Caroni barrels and select the blends for future editions . And so the fifth and penultimate release of the Employees series was born, consisting of three blends of Caroni from 1996 of 4 barrels each, bottled full proof and aged for 23 years in a tropical climate.

This edition is dedicated to Dhanraj “Dan” Maharaj, forklift driver.
