DISTILLATION Union of rum distilled with continuous and discontinuous method.

COLOR Intense amber

BOUQUET Intense hints of raisins and flambéed banana on the nose. Hints of vanilla and tobacco.

FLAVOR The palate is concentrated and powerful with candied tropical fruits, tobacco and spices. Notes of toasted oak give structure and depth. The finish is velvety and complex with notes of leather and dark chocolate.

NOTES The philosophy of St Lucia Distillers is based on innovation and quality. Authenticity tradition refined experimentation in distillation techniques allow you to create some of the best blends of Rum in the world. Meditation rum with long aging produced by hand to replicate the one found in the barrels that survived the disastrous fire which, in May 2007, struck the Saint Lucia distillery. The Cellar Master, during the reconstruction, was forced to find more unusual places for storing barrels. These Forgotten Casks resulted in a rum that was too aged for the Original Chairman's Reserve. It was thus decided to make this production a limited edition acclaimed all over the world.

AGING The rums age separately for 11 years before being blended together by master blender Deny Duplessis and then placed back in the cask for a further period.
