EQUIPOISE is an intriguing addition to the

Award-Winning Exceptional Cask Selection series,

highlighting Foursquare Rum Distillery’s commitment

to innovation.

This release is notable for the

incorporation of ex-Calvados casks

into the aging process for the first time.

The rum is crafted from a blend

of a ten-year-old ex-Bourbon rum,

which undergoes a further four years in Calvados

casks, and

a fourteen-year-old ex-Bourbon rum.

This meticulous aging

process results in a total of fourteen years of maturation,

ensuring a complex and rich flavor profile.

As a Single Blended Rum, EQUIPOISE

features both Marques, that is,

the different recipes based on equally

different types of white spirits (light, medium or heavy),

and light, distilled in the traditional

copper still and in the continuous columns of the

Foursquare distillery. It is bottled at a

robust 61% ABV, presented without

cold filtration, maintaining its

natural color, and free of sweeteners or additives.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:

The aroma is vibrant, with

fresh ginger, dried raisins and the acidity of

Victoria plum peel, accompanied by cooked apples, dark chocolate, toffee and

shortcrust pastry.

Palate:

On the palate it reveals itself as an

apple pie cream, mixing delicate notes of coconut and vanilla ice cream.

Finish:

The finish is intriguing, with dried hazelnuts and coconut, along with

astringent notes of black tea, with a hint of acidity and a hint of warmth from

fresh ginger.
