Made in France, it has a full flavour and a rich tradition that dates back to 1559, when S. Vivant De La Salle produced the first bottle of Brandy Armagnac. The famous “crooked bottle” recalls the original bottles used by San Vivant. Today, San Vivant still uses white wine grapes, native to the southwestern French region of Gascony, which are still fermented and distilled in a traditional copper pot. The spirit is aged in oak barrels, until it transforms into a flavourful eaux-de-vie. The S. Vivant cellar then begins the delicate task of blending the eaux-de-vie, until it achieves its consistent flavour and distinctive amber colour with golden highlights.
