“…18 years ago we asked the Nannoni Distillery to keep a selection of our Aqua Vitae; Sergio Manetti and his dear friend Alberto Manfredi, the 'painter of Montevertine', as we affectionately called him, had recently passed away; our intent was to remember them, carrying forward this project very dear to them, which began in the early 1980s together with the master distiller Gioacchino Nannoni. Alberto Manfredi proposed that we record more than a series of strong waters that accompanied the Aqua Vitae... For years we have waited with patience and great expectations for the barrel maturation of this selection and today, thanks to Priscilla Occhipinti of the Nannoni Distillery, Gioacchino's niece , we find it ready to satisfy the most refined palates.”

Montevertine's Aqua Vitae Riserva 18 years was aged for 18 years in used barriques, supplied at the time by the Le Pergole Torte winery to the Nannoni distillery. Only 911 examples, truly for enthusiasts
