A versatile wine ideal with chocolate-based desserts at the end of a meal, or to drink lightly as an aperitif. Tasting notes Color: brick red Aroma: fragrant aromas and hints of red fruits. Taste: well balanced on the palate with hints of unripe fruit. Long finish. Vinification Niepoort Tawny, with an average aging of three and a half years, comes from the vineyards of the Cima Corgo region in the Douro Valley. The grapes were pressed in the traditional way with subsequent maturation in large and old oak vats in the loggias in Vila Nova de Gaia.
