From an ancient recipe Awarded Laboratory Chemical Pharmaceutical Cav. Umberto Rosati of Ascoli Piceno Anisetta Rosati was born in the second half of the nineteenth century.

And 'an excellent result due to a diligent batch distillation in a water bath and a slow evaporation of a' careful selection of seeds of anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) "universally recognized as the best and most fragrant".
The seeds are grown in the hills of Piceno suspended between sea and mountains, in a sunny, well-drained fertile soil refreshed by the breeze of the Sibillini mountains, hand-picked by skilled farmers, with the addition of other Mediterranean spices, make dell'anisetta Rosati a low sugar content liqueur, very pleasing to the palate, in the digestive environment, refreshing temperature with ice, three coffee beans and two drops of lemon.
