Monte Alban Mezcal is distilled in continuous alembic from the agave espadin plant. it was, in order of time, one of the first mezcal to be marketed all over the world.
It takes its name from the most important pre-Columbian archaeological site of the state of Oaxaca.
Inside there is the "gusano", of which the legend tells that it gives to those who eat it or the strength or the courage and that it even acts as an aphrodisiac. Over the years there have been different beliefs that have created an aura of mystery around the larva that inhabits every bottle.
Ideal to drink smooth, it is also indicated in mixology as a base for a Smoky Margarita, Paloma, El Diablo, or accompanied by a traditional sangrita.
