The Gabellini family, owners of the company, moved to Bertinoro from the Romagna hinterland and in 1962 purchased the land with the Sangiovese and Albana vineyards, which at the time were cultivated as saplings.

Wine was an important part of the peasant tradition, and serving it at the table meant sharing with guests the love and pride for the fruit of the land's work; even then it was not considered just a food, but a point of union between people, an opportunity to feel good together.

For us, wine is tradition and passion that binds us inextricably to our land. We deeply believe that the history, experience, dedication and professionalism of the people who work it flow into the quality and character of the wines obtained from it, making them unique.

The cultivation of the vineyards and the grape harvest are operations that are all carried out manually. We do not use the sorting table but the selection of the grapes is done by hand directly in the vineyard during the harvest.

Currently the extension of our vineyards is about 12 hectares of vineyards, 10 owned and 2 rented, with an average annual production of 50,000 bottles.
