The family-run winery Tondini was founded in 2004 in San Leonardo, in Alta Gallura, between Luras and Calangianus, in an area of ​​excellence for Vermentino but also the main Sardinian cork area. At the helm of the winery is the Tondini family, represented by Orlando and his four sons, including Antonio, the family winemaker. The Tondinis' aim is to capture the strong viticultural vocation of the Gallura area and transmit it in the glass.

The 20 hectares of vineyards cultivated by the Tondini family are mainly reserved for Vermentino, a white grape variety that is the symbol of Sardinian winemaking, accompanied by smaller percentages of other native varieties such as Moscato, Cannonau and Caricagiola, as well as Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Dolcetto. The rows, pruned using the Guyot system, are located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, on sandy soils resulting from granite disintegration, in a Mediterranean climate characterized by the constant presence of sea winds and excellent daily temperature variations in summer.
