One of the best expressions of Sangiovese
Thanks to the incredible and unique terroir of Poggio di Sotto, together with the expressiveness of Sangiovese, this Rosso di Montalcino can easily compete with some of the Brunellos of the Denomination. With delicate notes of raspberry and black currant, spices, aromatic herbs and cedar, it is a very elegant and refined wine. Concentrated and complex on the palate with a well-balanced fresh note. Pure elegance with the finesse of a Burgundy.

HOW TO SERVE Serve at 16-18 ° C
VINIFICATION A wine produced from vineyards located at 200, 300 and 450 meters above the sea level, with a different exposure. The production area is in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in the valley of the Orcia river. The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in containers of 15-20 kg. The yield is 30-35 quintals per hectare.
After ripening, they are immediately subjected to a rigorous selection process.
The vinification takes place after spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels.
The wine remains in 30 hl oak barrels for 24 months and another 6 months in the bottle before being sold.
