Produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, it is aged for about 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Our historical wine, produced from 1971 to 1981 as Chianti Classico Montevertine and from 1982, following our exit from the Chianti Classico Consortium, simply as Montevertine. From selected Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, it ages for two years in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels.

Alcoholic fermentation: in cement vats for about 21 days
Malolactic fermentation: in cement tanks
