Obtained mainly from Cabernet Franc grapes, Maestro di Cava is a Bolgheri Superiore with an important structure.

It takes two years, one of which spent in oak barrels, to become what it is: and the result pays off in all the wait. The nose is clean and elegant, with notes of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and cherry, and delicate notes of vanilla. On the palate, it envelops with intensity and body, with noble and mature tannins, with a long and persistent finish. It is a long-lived wine, which time ennobles: it admirably accompanies stews, roasts, braised meats and game, blue and aged cheeses. It is also ideal with stuffed pasta, meat or cheese.
